Narrative pages of an 80-page corporate foundation grant that was awarded, in excess of original funding request, by a major US bank to a national housing charity. I drafted, co-edited and submitted this grant after a 6-month long, multi-approach process.  We worked under the advisement of our funder Program Manager at the Bank to complete the submission and reporting process. There are many addendum, reports, executive summaries, testimonials, and supporting financial documents that accompanied this grant request. Its completion required collaboration with dozens of other people and teams. I project managed the complete process, from inception to delivery, over 6 months. This grant request was for $1.2 million and was funded in full by the grantmaker.

For 3 years I taught fundraising workshops for the Center for Nonprofit Success Fundraising Summit. This presentation deck includes a few key slides from my presentation on Best Practices for Grant Writers. I trained thousands of new grant writers in Colorado and other states, for groups and individually. I've also co-taught grant writing workshops with other fundraising professionals.
